Convention Cachet Chicago 2007 On each day of the convention a different Lighthouse stamp of a series of five is used with the special day cancel. |

The Lion on the cachet is from the Bronze Lion statue in front of the Art Institute of Chicago. The complete Convention set consist of five cachets. Note that it contains a 4th July cancellation. These are very hard to obtain, in CDS format, as almost all US Post Offices are closed for the Federal Holiday, the 4th July or American Independence Day. Somewhat rare! Note: CDS means in North American philately, "Cancel Date Stamp" & always refers to the city, date & postal code in a circle. Price per set: US$ 12.50 For orders see  |
