- To encourage Stamp Collecting (philately) among Lion members.
- To provide a forum for trading & swapping of stamp material, especially those with Lions’ themes.
- To encourage the creation of Collectible Lions’ souvenirs using stamps & special cancels on cachets & cover envelopes
- To encourage Stamp Issuing Authorities (national postal administrations) to issue stamps bearing the Lions Int’l logo for special events and also to encourage the creation & use of special cancellations for special events.
- To provide volunteers at each annual Lions International Convention, to man the LISC booth, selling souvenir LISC envelopes & pins.
- When sufficient membership mass exists in a District(s), to form a Local Chapter of LISC, which can then have a booth & call a Chapter meeting at an upcoming MD convention.
